Book Summary by DR

I read a story called A Birthday Mystery.
I learned dogs and faces get along because the dog licked him.
When it is my birthday now I know to go around and ask for hints about what my present might be.
Nick said it was soft.
And Pat said it was fun to play with.
Lee said you have to wash it.
Sam said it was hard to catch.
Everyone said if I tell you it would ruin the surprise.
Alex said if you give me one hint I won't be able to guess it.
He asked for one more hint but they wouldn't give it to him.
It was a big surprise. It was a dog.
